LS1 and Heating Question

Whats the easiest way to run heat in a 60-66 with an LS1? Can you use the factory heater core? Didnt see much on this.
Thanks

I used the factory heater core on my 1965, no issues at all.

thanks guys - was hoping this was the answer. Do you have pictures of the routing of your hoses? Would appreciate it.

Re: LS1 and Heating Question

I hope the pictures are there. The top picture shows the heater box with the hoses. The second picture, I replaced the slip on fittings with an AN/pipe thread adapter. I used 1/2 and 3/4 inch heater hoses. I cannot find any other pictures that shows the heater core hooked up. I used a female AN to push lock fitting for the connections to the motor.

Hope this helps.
