brake light switch for 200R4 conversion?

Gathering parts for the conversion. Tranny guy suggested a brake light switch from an 82 Camaro. Is this what you are using. He also suggested a toggle switch but I would prefer something that does not need a good memory to operate the lock up torque converter. Suggestions?

I use a toggle switch.
