Kidde Fire Extinguisher Recall
 

Posting this in case someone recently got a Kidde fire extinguisher. I personally recommend getting commercial grade with metal fitting so they can be refilled and not subject to damage.

Thanks for posting this. I found that I have an extinguisher that's included in the recall. They're sending me a new one. The process to get a new one is super easy. Having had an engine bay fire in the past, I know how important a fire extinguisher can be. Thanks!

I'll have to check both of mine, The little one in the house is several years old but the 5 lb on the welding cart is a lot newer.

i had 3 recalls, son in law had 2 sisters each had 1
the recall goes way back to the 70s i believe
