my tailgate hinge repair
 

Thought I would post my hinge fix,mine was all rusted on the 2 ends and not much much left on the hinge plate. I made 4 L shaped brackets and a new mounting plate and bolted it all in to make sure everything would line up and the tailgate would close. If I welded it first and made a mistake there would be no way of grinding the weld out, but is was simple and easy and worked and no one will see it anyway,placed some weld on it after and good to go. The floor is raised 3 inches if you were wondering
