Pictures of Jack mounted in engine compartment

I have a 73 GMC 2500 and it has the jack mounts in the engine compartment. I have most of the parts, but I think I am missing a couple of pieces. Does anyone have photos of how the jack assembly mounts? Also, trying to figure out the spare tire mount under the bed. I got the truck with all of those components off the truck and loose.

thx

There are a couple of different places that they mounted. Here are a few threads already on the subject:

Thanks Brother. Looks like I have most of the parts based on those pictures. I'm going to sand blast and paint the parts and start installing them.

Here is a pic of my Jack mounted in the correct place on my 86 C10 I had it powder coated the argent silver. The second pic is of the Jack handle mounted behind the plastic overflow jar, it can hardly be seen but it is there. It was powder coated as well.
I hope this helps.

The 73, which is what he has, is mounted on the other side of the engine room. But that looks really nice!!

That is why I stated that is an 86 C10 I did not imply that it is the same as a 73 I felt it would be beneficial to see an example of the jack painted/powder coated for his/her reference. Must you reply to every thread?

Actually I don’t reply to every thread, sorry that you think that I do. As a matter of fact, I stated that yours looked very nice, or did you not see that since you were so quick to get offended about me posting a comment?:waah:

Thanks for your insight. I'm new to this world and I appreciate your help. I also want to apologize for calling you Brother. I meant Sister. (Another member corrected me) Respectfully submitted from the Newbie!

Not an issue at all. I don't mind being considered one of the guys. :metal:

I work in an Auto Factory, and most of my friends are guys, they consider me part of the pack. I have more in common than I do with the girls, lol. You don't have any idea how hard it is to carry on a conversation with another female about trucks and etc.
