60-62 ls swap a/c compressor
 

anyone with a 60-62 frame running a/c compressor in stock location? about to swap my ls1 to ls2. currently running the compressor up top with aftermarket bracket. I am wanting to leave it below in factory location and wondering if it will clear the frame. please post pics if you have this setup.

It can be done.I had to make my own mounts,the 60 to 62 has torsion bars.Replaced with a 89 c 10 box body style 5 .5 disc brake set up, will try to take pics hopefully this spring.

Kinda late to get back to you,i am useing stock ac with the factory location on my 62,had to cut part of the frame for it to fit,it can be done waiting for a boyds tank ,my 5.3 is a returnless fuel system.I am useing all my emissions cats and excetra .
