Electric choke question
From a cold start the choke works ok, seems to me like it takes longer than it should before it finally fully kicks down. But today was over 60 outside, i drove for probably 30-45 minutes then parked and went into the store for maybe 10 minutes max and when i started my truck the choke is on and took another few minutes to kick down...is it just an adjustment needed?

Re: Electric choke question
We will need to know what kind of carb and where the choke is being powered from. A picture of it is always helpful.

Re: Electric choke question
Losen the screws on the choke houseinf and turn the electric choke housing counter clock wise a bit.
Then test. You can also adjust to open when the engine warms up. Those hash marks on the casing are indicator marks for reference. Mark |
