I sold my 66 a couple of years ago and have regretted it everyday since. Well about a month ago I found another one on Craigslist (66 shortbed big back window) for 2 grand. I talked with they guy a little and for some stupid reason decided to think about it over night. Of course the next day he had a buyer. Well out of the blue today he sends me a text saying the guy who bought it was all bent out of shape because the cab isn't the original one and the numbers don't match. Well I just put a big deposit down on a new shop so i don't have the cash to go buy it btu I don't care so I'm going to put it on a card. I'm starting an on call job in a couple of weeks so I'll be able to pay it off in a couple of months anyway. If I get it I'll post some pics!

I just heard back from the guy. I tried to trade him a AR10 the last time we were talking but he needed money for a house he was buying. He just asked if I still had the gun for a trade. Of course I do! I paid $1150 for the gun at an auction last summer so I'm going to come out way ahead on this deal! Nice! Heres the gun I'm hoping to trade.

I hope you end up with another truck. I went the other way a few months ago. I traded a '63 LWB BBW for a 1911.

If I get it I'm sure I'll be making a visit to you. lol Might be next winter after the shop is built and I get it stripped down for a frame up.

I love the AR but I love the truck more. lol I was going to buy it but since I only paid 1100 for the gun, the trade made sense to me. BTW I have the title and will be picking up the truck Friday. It's pretty rough but nothing that hasn't been done before. They will have to bury me in this one. I'll have a video on Friday.
