1967 GMC Carpet Color

Getting ready to order carpet but I don't know for sure which color to get? I have heard that a 67 GMC with fawn interior originally came with saddle carpet but I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this. Anyone know for sure?

This is a 67 283vi Powerglide fleet side shortbed Vermillion on Fawn we restored a few years ago. If you look at my seat belts they are Saddle in color. The truck came with what was left of a black rubber mat. I went with an ACC Saddle carpet kit.

Rod is that a photo that you took or an archive photo? Just noticed the clear knobs on the window winds. I'm looking for factory correct 67 Fawn Oshawa truck to restore my CST.

I did not take them they are from the board somewhere. I am not sure if they ever had clear knobs factory though. I have had 3 unmolested 67's and all 3 had the 67 only knobs that were black and my build truck was a cst. My buddy has a 67 firebird and his are clear though.

Thanks for the pictures guys. These would support the saddle theory. Anyone else have survivors for reference?
