Help identify disk/drum master cylinder
I've been re-plumbing the brakes on my '66 shortbed step and am now needing to replace the master cylinder, it's been leaking. Problem is, one of the POs upgraded to a dual master cylinder/brake booster setup and I don't know what it's off of. I'm running disks in the front and drums in the back. The only thing I can read on it are a tag saying "0094" and another saying, i think, "223223LA" or "2232231A". Several searched turn up nothing for any of that.
If anyone can id the brake booster also, that'd be helpful too. Any help is appreciated. https://i.imgur.com/IaUcjKN.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/BCsTqqG.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/GzJMo0w.jpg?2 https://i.imgur.com/2qDWp2Y.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/P4bEJpL.jpg?2 https://i.imgur.com/queWLdE.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/gjzug26.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/TKlTQZI.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/ckWJC89.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/nNCBSjw.jpg?1 |
Re: Help identify disk/drum master cylinder
at a glance it looks mid 70's-80 C/K10

Re: Help identify disk/drum master cylinder
The booster is a '73-'80 and the master is likely as well.

Re: Help identify disk/drum master cylinder
Thanks ya'll.
OK, so if I got a replacement from that year range, with the same bore size, it should work? Something like this: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...aster+cylinder ? |
Re: Help identify disk/drum master cylinder
Should be the same, I kept thinking the 73&74 trucks used a different one than 75-80 but I might be wrong. I would measure your current one to make sure you get the same one as I believe there is 2 different sizes (but again I'm going off memory here).

Re: Help identify disk/drum master cylinder
Got a replacement for a '77, in the link above, and it bolted right up. Thanks all.
