Check temperature sensors in the front of the truck to make sure they are connected. What exactly is it doing?

ok first it would flash on and off the function weather temp of compass. I went through the procedure to reset and it was ok for a while then goes out . I pulled it and disassembled it thinking loose connections and appears ok. at this point it is not bright and barely able to read
