Is that Burb still for sale?

I ran onto your thread on the burb for sale for 1k. Does it have the gate rear doors or the ambulance style ones? I'm not sure the swing out doors are called ambulance doors but that's what they look like to me. I've only seen one with the drop gate and the upper half window. I had one in '75 even, and it even has those wierd doors like my '72. there's one in a salvage yard down the road from my farm though, that has the 'station wagon' style rear doors.

I am interested, though, if I get this payday I've been waiing for, for the last year and a half.
The shysters sent us a settlement offer and I'm taking what the hail they offer me and go on about it. It will at least put me up on two projects....hehehe....oh uh hi honey (cheese it it's the wife guys) She's got this crazy idea about paying bills w/that money...huh? Well, I'm rambling, but email me or I'll check back here to see if you still have that thing. Looks pretty good to me. I've got a couple of hot rod SBCs around here lookin for a nice ride like that burb. Later!

Still got it in fact you are the first to inquire. I do not have a for sale sign in it locally just given the board guys first crack! I got some more pics but for some reason I can't post them here I can email if you like.

I not sure what they they were called back in the day, but at least on this board, they are called Barn Doors.
OK, I just checked my dealer brochure, and they were called panel-type doors.???

Still for sale

Yes the burb is still for sale. My kid Chevy punk just put an edelbrock carb on his '71. And I am going to put the Q-jet off his truck and put it on the burb. Then we will see how tired the engine is. Anyone interested please pm me. I will try to check the thread more often.

Rusttburb: Is your burb still available? I'm looking for a 67-72. I'm in central california. If not available, do you have any leads? Or anyone else reading this reply have any leads?

Thanks,

burb for sale

hello, I'm looking for a 67-72 to build up. It would be used to pull a boat/trailer. I was thinking about doing a CAD 500" swap, for the good torque/hp. Maybe a 3/4 ton probably 2wd but may consider a 4x. Would also like to update interior with the newer suburban seating. I did find a 68 1/2t , still trying to talk her in to selling it. She's one of my customers(im a garbage man), I took some extras to get on her good side, you never know she might make me a good deal sometime..... Till then still hoping.

Curley :D
