What accelerator cable
 

I recently purchased an 81 Sierra. It has a later this 305 in it. I wanted to replace the accelerator cable but I don't know what size to get. Do I get one for an 81 or a later model truck. Not sure what years the tbi motor came in later trucks. So I'm not sure what year of later truck cable to get. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The tbi first came in ‘87. The cable for the ‘87 should work for you
