best aftermarket harness
Hey everybody. What aftermarket wiring harness do you guys prefer? I'm working on a 67' short-fleet and I'm doing a Dart block 406 with a Fitech,4L80e,electric water pump and dual electric fans. I'm gutting all the wiring and starting fresh. There's Painless,Quickwire and American Street wire that I've found and they all seem comparable. Thanks and have a great day.

Re: best aftermarket harness
I like M&H in Santa Fe Springs. They are all-American, can do a custom harness, but with factory-spec wire gauges, color code correct and correct connectors; and the tech who builds your loom signs his work.

Re: best aftermarket harness
AAW & M&H are almost identical, the owners were partners, they split up because one wanted to move back east.
They will also do some mods for different alternators & HEI, possibly other mods too. Gary |
Re: best aftermarket harness
I installed a Painless Performance. Wellllll, my son installed it in my '71. It's a very good product. No problems whatsoever.

Re: best aftermarket harness
Had great results with an AAW harness.

Re: best aftermarket harness
I've used painless many times and been happy but that's not to say the other supplier's aren't quality products.

I am running the AAW Highway 22...
Easy to work with and has the benefit of locating the Fuse block where you want... |
Thank you everybody.
