Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of

This is what I did to my 8 inch truck rally wheels. For the center I used part of a 72 Chevelle wheel cover and I bought reproductions 72 Corvette trim rings.

That looks awesome man, plus its all chevy! So how are the centers attached? Are they held in place by the trim ring only?

Now that's a different look. Thinking outside the box as they say. I'm not a billet fan but that would look good in billet too.

Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
Those are SWEET!!!! Now all you need is the back story. Like .... Dealers were given a set of these caps for every 1000 cars they sold in a year. And a new Chevrolet myth is born.
All joking aside they look great. :metal::metal::metal: |
Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
I don't even really get what you did...but love the final product!! Wish wheel designers were more creative to come up with revamped styles.

Those look great! Well done.

Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
Ah, the optional Corvette wheel cover. I'm not entirely sure I know what I'm looking at, and maybe I wouldn't like it if I did, but I like the way they look.
Therefore, I officially endorse this product and/or service! |
Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
Those came together really nicely. Great work!

Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
That looks excellent. Has a nice retro look to it. I love seeing people make one of a kind things.

Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
That is, to me....quite simply the best wheel/wheel cover idea and move I've seen on these trucks in years.:metal:
A lot of that is based on the simple creativity you put into use in making something custom yourself. Absolutely great work and a great look.....and I love the ingenuity and creativity behind it. Nothing like being the 'only one' with that wheel cover set-up.....very few can do it given the fact that most follow, very few lead. Excellent stuff! All good Coley:chevy: |
Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of
X2...And with raised white letters...Awesome look.

|
Re: Pictures of my home made custom wheels, sort of

I see hundreds of aftermarket wheels, all different trpes, they almost ALWAYS look ugly to me. Job well done!!! |

Cool look. Reminds me of things I used to do with my 1/25th scale models.
