Upper Control arm bolts

Ok guys I asked this question in the past and had no responses so I will try again. I have a 72 C20 and the upper control arm bolts are loose and have wallowed out the holes. Any experience to repair this? Front end guy says weld bolts in. Really hate to do something that may be a pain in the rear to repair again in the future. Bolts are almost impossible to find as well. Any thoughts from ya'lls experience? THX

First thoughts I had also would be to weld them in. Think about it, they most likely will not ever be removed.

Are you doing the repair with the engine installed? If so then tacking them in place from the outside maybe the easiest method. It may be possible to fabricate a plate with two longer bolts tack welded to hold them from turning. Then it would be pulled tight against the frame from the inside. I have never tried this or even looked into trying to.
