Hey guys, I posted this in the WIW section the other day, but I don't think many view that section of the site...so I hope it's ok here? I have a NOS 77-80 GMC grill that I acquired from a guy locally a few years ago. Still in the GM box (box is in rough shape). Just would like to know how much it's worth? Thanks in advance.

Yes I am. I had a couple guys locally interested when I mentioned I had one, but I wanted to get an idea of what it's worth before saying anything else. Also would be open to selling it on here too. Just want to know how much it's worth.

This is killing me! I sold a used one a couple weeks ago that was in good shape, no broken pieces...just a small hairline crack on the top piece (not noticeable and easy fix) for $60 to a guy locally. I need to get better at knowing value. Although I'm glad the used grill I sold will be back on a daily driver and is helping the guy out.

Now this is crazy. Is that grill worth $2000?? I get maybe cause it's a rare chrome one and it's NOS, but is it truly worth that? I guess maybe it just depends on personal preference and what it means and is worth to the person interested. Mine isn't chrome, but still NOS. Any idea what it's worth? Thanks for the links man, appreciate it.

Travis, I would say this is worth between $900-1200. It could sell for as high as $1500. As you know this year grille is very desirable. I get asked at least once a month for this year grille. I would say your used one was worth between $300-400 if it wasn't sun rotted. You are always welcome to ask me prices.

Thanks for the info, Jeff! I appreciate it. Now I have a better idea. I really let the used one go at a bargin price...no wonder the guy took it no questions asked or bartering. Ah well, I shouLd do better with the NOS one. Thanks again man.

I’ll add too that your grill being dark grey primary w/silver accents, its correct for GMC vans and motorhome chassis...so its not quite as desirable as the pickup versions tho any of these grills NOS are hard to find. Is the NOS chrome grill worth 2K? No imo-not unless they have the trim and center emblem also NOS to go with it.

I’d put your grill value at $400-450. If it were a pickup grill I’d say 2X that.

I believe your grill is '79-'80 pickup or van. '77 and '78 were reverse paint scheme.
