It's in.....

Rebuilt the 402 last year and got It in today. Need some wiring connectors and some plugs and maybe get her going next week. THe one heater hose went to top on manifold, had a water pump to manifold bypass and a heater hose to the rad. Can I run both heater hoses to the water pump and forget the bypass?

All good

A/C trucks run the return heater hose to the radiator. It will work either way though.

Nope, hook it up right. It gets air out of system

The inlet hose will have to go to the intake manifold. The outlet can be hooked to the water pump or the radiator. Do not remove the bypass hose.

Re: It's in.....

inlet is to water pump, outlet is next to thermostat goose neck on front of manifold unless you have a gen 5 with reverse flow cooling
