68 K20 wheel color?
 

Was the stock color for a 68 K20 steel wheel black? Thanks!

Mine are semi glss black and the rings are a gloss medium grey

I think they were either silver or off white, I know 68 C/10 and C/20 had silver wheels, C/30 had black wheels.

The '68 K-models had black wheels. Pretty sure C-series painted trim color was argent, so wheels were. K-series came without hubcaps, so those and C/30s got black. If it got hubcaps the truck wheels were Argent, if it didn't they were black.

My 68K20 is white.The rims are a semi gloss black.

I thought my rings were painted silver until I broke down my rims. I miss stated in another post a while back that I though they were silver. and after breaking down the rims I noticed on the back side that they were a a gloss medium grey. same grey as the leaf springs.

The stock 17.5'' 6-lug rims on my '68 C/10 Stepside were Argent Silver from the factory.

I have some original '68 brochures that would indicate that 4X4 rims were black. 4x2's were silver.
