65 GMC vin, where the heck is it?
 

I have a totally stripped and rusted out 65 GMC cab, everything else for it is long gone. I never had the title, but I got it from the fella I used to work for. Was his dads brand new, then he got it and used it as a garbage/junk hauler. He gave it to me because my brother needed parts for his 65 (Which is now buried in storage at someone else's place, other wise I would have had him look). I need the vin, so I can have my ex boss release it (he cant find the title) so the scrapper will take it away, and I cant find the vin anywhere ... Whew, long winded explanation that probably didn't need to be explained haha!

Pretty sure the info is in the FAQs. I do know that on Chevy, it's on the top inside of the door frame!

I couldn't find it in the FAQ but I did run out where the cab is sitting and you were right on the money, thanks!

LoL, first google I made that landed on this site was looking for same thing..

I learned how to drive in this truck, been in family my whole life and couldn't find that dang tag :lol:

You know how I found it? I used the Menu Bar (Edit) then used "Find on this page" and typed in VIN. Control F - Type in search word, hit return.
