Carb rebuilt...I知 no longer afraid to crank it!
2nd shot at the Rochester B rebuild...no gas oozing out..the truck idles and runs better at low speed than it has since I got it - no sputtering or spitting or dying! I don稚 know what I did wrong the first time - the second time I double checked the float level and I also torqued the bowl to air horn screws to spec (70 inch-pounds). The dang choke is still hard to pull all the way out though, even after I paid attention to all the responses on that thread....

Nothing like a job well done to make a guy happy! You may have to play with the positions of the bracket and cable to get it to move freely. Also, lube the snot out of the cable.
