Og Bolts, engine color

1 Attachment(s)
Ok bolt gurus! I was cleaning a batch of bolts off the 62 and came across these. The ones in background are for under seat jack mount, 3 dots. The SS ones were mainly clean but the blue ones threw me. Truck is orange and had green primer under cab. Would this been engine color? There is a flag on 2, EL on 1 and 2 with E.

From my post in the original thread... see if anyone else might have answer.

NO clue. Knowing me I would have temporarily misplaced original bolts and borrowed some from a blue vehicle that I had.

Blue ones look like oil pan, the ss ones I believe are to fold the air box or block off plate to firewall.

Those blue ones look like the bolts that hold the dust shields on the bellhousing. I just cleaned and re-installed these on my 63 and they were the same style with the captivated star washer. There are five or six required for the two dust shields. Mine were painted with the original blue engine paint of the 230 inline 6 in my truck.

Not sure the oil pan bolts had the locking hardware on them.

I don't now on a 6 but there is 4 bolts near crank that are bigger on 283's, I was thinking those ones, rest are smaller.
