Not good news , have you seen the stupid prices on the trucks and parts? We oldtimers were crusin fine before this stupidity started. Oh well , time to change my Depends , take my pills , and try to sleep the night without worrying.

I agree! I saw a long bed “barn find” no drivetrain, BBW, ac cab w/o the vent and they wanted $5500!

That tells me mine would fetch $30k....

Every one thinks they have a gem.They don't.Back in 1989--98 i was hired to scout out old car's trucks motors an other parts.The pickings where really good.I even got in on some of the action and buying a few that i still have now.9 chevy trucks from 64--72 plus with the 2 suburbans.But I got the pick of the cream of the crop.No cancer no damage most of the trucks that had wood in there beds where still in there.some signs of rot or cancer forming.But today's greed is fine if you can get it.Just like this dude here in Calif He put in a 5.3 LS with the 4l60e in a 1965 did not hook up the AC nice paint wood in bed.An wanted like $47,000.He used the cheapest motor line of all GM motors the 5.3 is a good motor but its not the 5.7 or the 6.0 or the 427.An used that worthless 4L60E over the 4L80E is plain stupid.Thats my thoughts
