Will check my parts stash later today and get back with you. May have one, not sure if sold it at last swap meet. If I have one, will take pics of what I have to be sure we're on the same page. :chevy:

Well thats my problem .1000's of pages of literature and no picture. Seems to fit over a double groove pulley.

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

Sorry, I'm no help either. Have one add on lower crank single groove pulley and a single groove water pump pulley. Not much help to you there, good luck in your search.

Is the pulley you are needing, the one to drive the power steering pump?

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

According to the installation sheet this single add on pulley is for the same belt to drive the A/C compressor.

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

In my experience with the short water pump on a small block, the groove closest to the balancer is for the water pump and alternator. The second groove out, I always assumed was for A/C using a 2 groove WP pulley. The third groove out is for the power steering pump with a single groove pulley. I'm not saying your illustration is wrong or there isn't another configuration. This is just my experience. Are you needing a total of 3 or 4 grooves on the crank?

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

I'm trying to work off the instruction sheet. I have tbe double altenator , double power steering , double crank + single , just needing the single add on for the water pump as I have a double presently.

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

OK, now I see what you are doing. I misunderstood originally. Is the add on pulley the same diameter as the 2 groove WP pulley?

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

I would assume it is. Saw some add on pulleys in a yard yesterday with a square nose instead of tapered like in the picture. They were smaller diameter. Gonna measure mine to compare.

Re: WTB single add on water pump pulley SWP

1 1/2 inch inner depth
7 1/8 inch outside diameter

Heres what it looks like on a 1964. Many Truck pulleys for AIR and PS are truck Only pulleys , not always the same as cars. This add on pulley was used on 1958-1961 passenger cars= Impalas with Cool Pack units and 1963-1966 Truck dealer installed air. The GM part number is 3779582.

So in the 63 Installation Manual the A/C belt is completely towards the fan like in your pictures except it has 2 drive belts for the alternator and power steering pump closest to the crank , water pump. The Power Steering pulley I bought is in line with the add on pulley and middle groove on the rest.
