3-speed on the tree shifter and tranny pictures wanted
 

Hey all.. so I just returned my 60 Burb back to the original style 3-on-the-tree. I have searched all my parts boxes and I do not have the original shifter lever. does ANYBODY have one on the shelf they are willing to part with ?

Also, can anybody supply me with pictures of the shift linkage connecting to the transmission? I have the original linkage but something is just not matching up.

So if anybody has the 305 V-6 with the 3-speed on the tree could you please take some pictures of the connection points at the tranny and the angle of the shift levers in neutral

If you're not in a big hurry when I take mine apart I'll have all those parts left over.

Is the GMC shift lever different from the Chevrolet? Is there a difference from 60-66? I have at least one laying around but its from a 64-66 chevy.

My understanding so far is they are the same.. maybe somebody can confirm.

Well a lot sooner than I planned. lol My pressure plate crapped out yesterday at work. I'm not going to fix it, I'm going to start my swap now. Maybe late next week I'll have it out?
