Are the modern "quiet" pumps really quiet?
Edelbrock has a "whisper" pump and the Holley Dominator pump is advertised as silent as well, but can you really still mount one under a CAB and not hear it?
Older pumps are loud as heck and I wind up running pump RPM controllers and so on. But if the modern EFI ones are quiet... |

Call the guys at highfuelflow.com and they can answer those questions. I bought my fuel pump kit from them after I talked to them. They were also the cheapest.

Re: Are the modern "quiet" pumps really quiet?
I've never heard a fuel pump over the exhaust noise. 255's are actually fairly quiet like Mongo said. The only one to REALLY avoid if noise is an issue is the a1000

Agree..I had one with my TPI and I could here it over my Flowmasters. Have a in tank pump now with my 6.0 and I can’t even here it when I turn the key. I here the relay click and that’s it.
