1987 tbi evac can connections?

I recently acquired a 87 with a tbi 350 that some rats had made a home of and I'm trying to get all the hoses correctly routed. Does anyone have a pic on how the hoses for the evap canister are routed? I know one runs from the tank to the can, then from the can to the tbi. But where is the purge solenoid located? My tbi camaro purge solenoid was built into the can, but this can just has hose fitting on it and I can not find where the rats ate the wiring for it. Thank you.

My 89. Purge on bottom in photo, tank on top. This may not answer your question because since I am running a Sniper TBI I am not using a solenoid. Just running the Purge line to manifold vac.

How well does it run when cold without the solenoid? The manual I was reading said purge should never happen below 117°F. I think the ecm controlled solenoid take the place of the old carb'd thermal vacuum switches. Wondering how necessary that requirement is.

It runs fine. I'm about to install a trick pcv made by ME Wagner. It's a fully adjustable billet aluminum valve that allows you to adjust the amount of flow at idle and above idle.
