Question about a truck I saw...

I saw this driving home from work. It's not mine. Is this about stock spring height? This one is similar to mine except my springs are shot and I'm about to replace. Deciding if I want to drop it a little or go stock. Thanks.:chevy:

Similar height to my truck except the tire sizes. I am going to replace the coil springs on mine soon.

Thanks for the replies. After seeing so many lowered trucks, I think the stock height looks pretty good on the longbeds. Nice looking trucks gentlemen.

Stock height looks right on an 8-lugger. Leave the dropping to the lightweight crowd. 3/4t trucks are made to carry a load, not look like it's overloaded empty. C/10 and C/20 are different animals and what's good for one is not necessarily good for the other. If I had a C/20 I would be proud of it and let people know by looking it is a 3/4t, not try to make it look like a 1/2t (or less after suspension mods). 3/4Ts look good looking ready to haul!

Is your personal truck a 3/4 ton? Assume so, but you didn’t mention.

The top truck has 2 different size tire on it. The front is taller, I guess to "Level" it out.

Mine is a 70 1/2 ton (c10) long bed. Just thinking that it would look better with stock springs or only slightly dropped. It's tough to find a 67-72 that has fresh stock springs, they're all either worn out like mine or intentionally lowered.

Copy, thanks - was wondering about that. Keep in mind the pic in post 1 is a 3/4 ton, will have a little different ride height than a C10, especially if the 3/4 pictured has hd leafs or overloads, etc. Also, good eye by Warren, I believe he's correct, two different dia tires front to back - so that pic really is a bad reference. Recommend ask for some freshly stock re-sprung C10 pics before you decide (or just google on here and you'll find hundreds of stockers) - I'd keep it stock height also.
