Shocks
Just changed my truck by adding 4" dropped shocks with the aluminum shoes under the axle, and now a shock relocating kit. My question is can I use the same shocks or should I buy shorter ones. There seems to be about an inch difference in the distance between the two. If I need new ones anyone have a preference and maybe a number. Thanks

Re: Shocks
Does that chart account for the relocated mounts? I'd assume that is all with shocks mounted in stock position. Would it be the same? i don't know but wouldn't think so. My truck has 4/6 drop and I want to get relocating mounts. So would like to know as well.

Re: Shocks
Best relocation shock mounts in my opinion on the market.
'No Limit' Relocator for the rears. You can do away with your rear sway bar afterwards to!:chevy: http://nolimit.net/products#!/~/prod...32&id=26244502 Application: 1963-66 Chevy Trucks 1967-72 Chevy Trucks Description: If you are lowering your truck, or want it to ride better, moving the shock mount location can help. Our mounts move the shock outside the frame and behind the axle. The correct length shock to use is based on the amount of drop in the rear coil spring. We have two standard shock lengths for this kit. One for 0" to 4" dropped coils and one for 4" to 6" dropped coils. ** Not for coil-overs:chevy: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=688743 |
