1968 2wd SWB Fleetside C10... Walter DeWayne
1 Attachment(s)
I'm going to start this add with an admission....I've come to the conclusion that I'm a square body guy, and that's why I just haven't moved forward on Walter. He's beautiful in his own gruff way, but I bought a 1977 Square yesterday & I don't have room or the finances for 2 big projects.
I'm selling Walter along with the 1968 specific parts for him. He is a 1968 C10 SWB Fleetside 2wd 507 blue jewel. He still has all his original pieces/parts including the 327/3OTT. I never attempted to get him running, but the motor does turn over with a pull bar on the crank bolt and the trans/clutch still engage and goes through the gears. My intentions were either an LSX swap or a BBC/700r4 swap. I have a build thread that has plenty of pictures of him, and if you need more, please let me know and I'll snap them. He now lives in my climate controlled shop, but he's not been subjected to the elements since at least 1984 (the tag that was on it when I rescued him out of Granddads basement garage). He's got a wonk on the drivers side fender on the leading edge by the headlight, a little rust in the rockers and the front bed panel. He's still wearing his original paint/patina and is still a one owner ride. I have the original bill of sale, protecto plate, owners manual and the bill of sale from the original owner when I bought it 4 years ago. New parts that need to go with him... Blue high hump ACC carpet kit and "No hole" high hump Stainless Steel door sill plates Aftermarket Blue dash pad (not a cover) Billet aluminum hood hinges Painless Wiring 10206 harness Fesler billet 2 piece taillights, and front and rear marker lights Precision weatherstripping for entire cab & doors Dakota Digital guages And a tilt column that Les (70ShortFleet) completely rebuilt and painted 507 blue for me. It's still in his kicka$$ wooden crate he shipped it in & was only opened to ogle. I also have quite a few small assundry used parts that will be included... i.e. extra set of door handles, extra trim pieces here and there etc. Build thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=636095 New and final price, $10,000 |

I’ve had a few requests for pics, so I’ll get a bunch taken & posted Friday. I’ll also go through the “assundry” parts and make a more thorough list.

I tried to get a picture of the carpet, but the color washed out pretty bad in the pic. It is the correct light blue for Walt and is for a high hump too.

Except for the 2 guys out there that I gave a last chance...
Yeah, I bought more parts for Walter today while I was over in Atlanta. I’m thinking he’s staying here.... |
