help with truck value

Well, my wife told me that i need to sell one of my trucks if i am going to get rolling on another project, so i guess i need help with pricing one.

This is a 69 custom/10 that i bought from the orginal owner. It has 76000 orginal miles to date. It is a V8 auto with power steering and manual brakes. It has a 2bl carb. As far as options, that is pretty much it. It has an idiot light dash, factory radio delete and only had the lower trim installed by the factory. I replaced the bench with a early 90's seat with armrest and the steering wheel with a 90's 4 spoke. I also added 6 lug ralley wheels with 235 goodyear tires. I replaced both rockers and corners, added a aftermarket chrome front bumper , a new black dash pad, and painted it in May of this year. It had a tailgate, but i did not paint it. I have driven it to and from work for the last year, so there are the normal chips and one scratch on the passenger side bedside.

I appreciate the help with attaining a value for it.

Thanks Again

David

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they never came in black. They were available in charcoal, light gray, blue, maroon, and tan.

If I 'm wrong, someone will be glad to correct me...

I would agree, 3500 to 4000.

Nice clean looking truck. I'de agree with the $3,500-$4,000 range. Looks like it would be a steal at $2,700.

Its a really sweet looking truck. May I suggest a $50 investment by putting a black rubber mat.. That I thing would be money well spent annd fore sure you should get in the $3 to $4k range..

$2700

At $2700 I'd be making a third run to Kansas this year. In Wi that truck would sell for $4K with a good 350 & a tailgate. Less with a smogged 307.......Zoomy

thanks guys, you made me feel a lot better about selling it. I have been meaning to buy a black mat, but the longer i take completing this truck, the longer i get to keep her, without my wife nagging me to sell it.

As for the seat, i bought it at a swap meet that is in Wichita every Feb, i think i paid $100.00 for it, it is a little narrow for our trucks, so you have to crowd it to the driver's side an inch or two.

Thanks for the help

David
