Question about an RPO code
1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone, recently purchased a 1977 GMC stepside. As I was looking through the RPO codes I noticed the code “9V1 - colour combination - BLA” Through my own research ive found that this was a COPO option that became available when you ordered the truck as a chevy sport. But obviously this is a GMC so im a little confused. I included a pic of the spid.
Thanks again for the help!! |
Re: Question about an RPO code
An old rpo list I have shows 9V1 = black. Makes no distinction between GMC or Chev.

Re: Question about an RPO code
Paint codes do not make a distinction between nameplates (the code is the same regardless).
So - 9V1 is the "sport" paint scheme, whether it is a Chevy "Sport Truck" or a GMC "Street Coupe". The engineering usage string would be C10703 & 9V1 & X88/Z88. K |
