Can someone grab a measurement on the running board braces for me?
1 Attachment(s)
The rear running board braces on both sides look like they are bent forward. They aren't even, let me put it that way. The front to the middle brace measures perfect between the inner and outer bolt holes for the running board. Where the rear ones to the middle one don't. The outer ones are closer together than the inner ones.
But they look identical side to side! My running boards are very hard to get to, could one of you guys throw a measurement at those outer holes between the rear brace and the center brace for me? Brian |

Re: Can someone grab a measurement on the running board braces for me?
According to this post showing the assembly manual, the rear bracket is shown on an angle.
Although you can't see the numbers, they are: from bracket #1, measurement showing from both holes, to bracket #2, both holes, are 31.062 + or - .062. bracket #2 to bracket #3, using inner hole only on bracket #3, is 27.438 + or - .062. The measurement on #3 bracket doesn't use the outer hole, which shows it on the angle. |

I thought the "damage" looked to symetrical, but they looked bent forward. My frame running board brackets measure out perfectly thanks to you I know they are good. Brian:metal::metal::metal::metal::metal: |
