Red or Black carpet in Red interior on 87 R10
 

I am building a 87 R10. I just got it back from paint. It is Tuxedo Black exterior. I am going with red interior. I had rather use Black carpet because it would not show dirt as bad. Red is the same cost. Which would look better?
How do you rotate pics.?

Black carpet would be my choice...but it will show dirt easily...

Black carpet will break up the RED and make it less overwhelming...

Make the inside uppers red and the carpet/dash black...

A black dash topper and black carpet with mostly red everything else?

Red headliner, doors, plastic trim and seating surface.

With black Heavy Marine Vinyl seat sides and rear facing back of the seat with a Black Vinyl band in the middle and red cloth butt and back seating surface... Red belts or black.

Or black and red plaid on the whole seating surface.

It's your toy.

I say match the carpet with the color of the kickpanels.

I find that the contrast between colors can cause a space to close in on me visually -whether it's a room in a house or a truck cab. Also my experience with very dark colors is that they show just how many light-colored particles are around that I never noticed until they landed on my carpet or upholstery. Nothing wrong with an all red interior inside an all black truck. Nice looking truck, BTW.
