Gmc with white bumper.
 

Anyone have any pics of there gmc’s with white bumpers. I’m thinking about doing this. Just want to see what it really looks like before I paint it.

I spy with my keen eye, chevy bumpers on a couple of them gmc ;)

don't blame 'em, I'm partial to paint over chrome myself..

I believe the early ones didn't have turn signal cut outs and used chevy bumpers. 67-68 I think.

I think it depends on the truck and of course its your truck so bottom line its what works for you. When I first saw my truck on Craigslist , pic with white front bumper, I liked the truck but right then decided if I bought it the front bumper would be chromed which I did along with removing the work bumper from the rear and installing a chrome sport bumper.

yep, sure looks like chevy bumper on there but fairly certain it was stock, bought in '92 like that..

minus the bumper/fender wrinkle, uninsured illegal gave me that free of charge :rolleyes:

Black painted bumpers with black painted factory wheels and factory hubcaps looks really nice as well.

That works great! Very nice combination. I have a 1967 K10 short stepside that is red with white bumpers but I have a ways to go before it looks like yours. It is a plain truck and i will definitely keep the bumpers white. Thanks for your post.

Definitely flashyer with the Bling Chrome. I do like the distinguished look of the white bumper on the GMC's. Kinda reminds me of a grey mustache look. Break out the Brill Creme Mustache dressing!

That truck has a nice simple look, very utilitarian .. I love it!

I’m actually gonna restore mine exactly like your pre-restore. But not 4x4 and in a Forrest green.
