Never seen a hood rust like this
This was at the Concours De Lemons show in Seaside, Ca and I thought it was cool as hell it lived its whole life on the California and Oregon coasts a few blocks off the ocean and I am guessing the hood at least was under a tree for a long time. The rest of the truck was immaculate and I think the owners said it had around 50,000 original miles. It ran and drove great as well and even passes California smog tests https://scontent-sjc3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...24&oe=5C330A5D |

I would not have changed one thing on that truck, exactly like the owner has kept it. 50k truck runs and drives fine, Keeps the predators off it.

Re: Never seen a hood rust like this
I had an 88 Mazda B2200 once that had a hood and front bumper that looked nearly as bad while the rest of the truck was in decent shape, with over 400k mi. It had spent life being toted behind a truck as a wide-load chase vehicle.
