anybody know anything about tachs
 

got this tach that wont return to zero (0). it will move with the engine rpm but without returning to zero thats almost useless. returns to 2000 at idle. took it out and even disconnected it creeps up. part number is 5659780 and has ‘8 cylinder’ stamp. thanks for any assistance.
