Boise ID members

Just wondering if we have members in the Boise ID area and what the old car / hot rod / AD truck scene is like

There is a big and active car community in Boise. You can find event listings in the Cruzin Magazine calendar for most events there and I think someone on here posted about an even a few miles out of town a while back.

Yep, never thought I would do it, my family has been in the city I live since 1880. But with the changes here and with my oldest son living in the Boise area with his wife and my two grand daughters and my oldest daughter moving there with my two grand sons, how can I go wrong! I bit the bullet this past December and started looking and WHAM, in February I bought a house.

I will have my grand daughters 10 minutes from me, a minor league ball park 4 minutes away, a drag strip 20 minutes away, come on! :metal:

You will have to buy a bigger coat for winter though. Plenty of good events between here and there that we could possibly meet up at too. Plus the Boise roadster show every winter.

Great car culture here, and lots of talented builders and support folks. One or two events every weekend, all low key and fun. Local dragstrip, Firebird, is nationally recognized and has a great swap meet in the spring. Also two oval tracks for the roundy guys, lots of motorcycle events, moto and cruising. Sports cars have a niche too. Everyone is pretty cool and laid back, everyone I know appreciates the work that goes into any project.

My house is in the North West Boise City area. But I am in the SF bay area for another year or so.

That's called moving a load at a time every time he goes to see the grand kids until he runs out of stuff to move.
