microsoft upgrade
 

I hate when Microsoft does an upgrade to their system. Now this site will not remember my log in or password even when I check remember me. any ideas how to fix that?

This has been happening to me for a few months now on a number of websites. There does not appear to be a fix from Microsoft that I could find.

Go Google Chrome and never look back.

It saves all those usernames and passwords for you indefinitely. Even stuff you put into online forms.

Downside is that Google definitely works with the NSA...but if you're worried about that, you probably shouldn't be online at all.

Not sure I said that ^, but thank for putting words in my mouth, or on my keyboard.

Simply referring to the fact that if your "logged in" to Chrome, it definitely knows who are and is definitely tracking everything you do. Likely selling it to marketing companies as well.

I'm sure Internet Explorer does the same...I haven't used it in decades since it's the target of most viruses.

Mozilla does take privacy seriously, and I tried to make the switch back to it. I just don't like it as much as Chrome. And my phone is Android, and I have Google minis all over the house. It just makes sense to keep everything synced.

And the NSA is tracking IP address anyway. I don't think any of us can avoid surveillance, no matter what browser you use.

thanks for the info. I know we get tracked in everything we do but that's life.
I had a customer who wanted us to remove all the computers from his Nissan Pathfinder so the government couldn't track him. I recommended he buy an old Chevy pick up that had no computers in it. he thought that was a good idea. Next time I saw him he had wrapped his Nissan in tin foil. don't know if that gave an added layer of protection

This adds from where you have been thing is getting pretty annoying, There is an Eastwood add just above the spot I am typing right now because I looked at an Eastwood Tig Tungsten grinder this afternoon.
