GM Stalk to aftermarket Wiper/washer

1 Attachment(s)
I found this on a IH forum site and am asking you electrical smart guys to take look and see if its right. Concerned it may not be right What do you think?

I have an 1987 GM Van column with the full stalk controls for Wiper, Washer cruise control. It terminates in a multi plug and will either split it open or find the female side and graft onto it. Only interested in the washer wiper functions.

As always All comments and suggestions appreciated.

Looks pretty simple the way they have it laid out.

Going to give it a try. Thinking of using multi color multi wire lawn sprinkler wire for the low voltage part. The ones inside a single jacket would significantly save space and simplify.

You mean low amperage? The voltage is always the same, its the current draw that changes. You could always just canniblaize an old car wiring harness you might have laying around. I usually keep scrap harnesses at work just to harvest parts I need or break and we dont have in stock at the time.

Amperage ( I guess) Old Civil Engineer here. Wood, steel, dirt, water, stone only.

I left all my scrap wire back in PRK when we escaped. Sprinkler wire seems more than adequate

Correct. Its for one of those after 2 speed with park market wipers for a 54 AD. The Vacuum wipers really sucked btw. Brothers has an install video that may help those in need. Pay attention to the wiper rod inserts and how they replace the old rubber grommets.
