Help!! In Need of A Bench Seat
I just started restoring a 67 Chevy C10. It has bucket seats out of a modern impala and they don't fit in the truck and are really ugly. I want to install bench seat but I can't seem to find any used springs online and there are not a lot of aftermarket bench seats. LMC has a couple of seat kits that are decently priced but I really don't want to go through the work of putting one together. So my question is it more cost effective to have an upholstery shop build me a seat from the ground up, try to find used springs or just buy a seat/kit online.

Re: Help!! In Need of A Bench Seat
I bought mine and had a similar dilemma - 80's style (ugly) Blazer buckets. If you look you can probably find one like I did - $75 for a good donor bench, 67-68 and I had it reupholstered... there is cost there, but I am very happy having the stock bench seat..

Re: Help!! In Need of A Bench Seat
When my 68 was still road worthy, it was my favorite vehicle to drive with it's stock bench seat.
Hope you can make connection with yard bill mentioned!!! |
