Brakes Grabbing and Locking

After putting the power brake booster on my truck (71 c disk/drum with booster added) the front drivers side wheel seems to grab more than the rest. Their is some play in the pedal until they grab and that wheel seems to lock. It does release, it just seems to grab too much. I re-bled the brakes a few times and believe I have all the air out of the lines. I installed a new cylinder at the drivers side rear, the rest are stock. Any tricks to getting a more equal brake out of all 4 wheels?

IME, the failure of the opposite side rubber brake line is the biggest contributor to uneven front braking.

If you have not replaced rubber lines in some time, I'd start there.

everything is factory except the one cylinder. I plan on doing all the lines this fall/winter. Hopefully that will help, thanks.

yes, The brakes that are locking up may be the only brakes doing there job. look at the problem from different perspectives.

I converted a 66 to dual master cylinders one time and after bleeding the brakes... finally.. the whole system started failing randomly. ended up rebuilding the MC and all the cylinders and new hoses before karmic energy was restored
