Removing gauge cluster lettering

Is there a way to remove the green lettering from the fuel gauge without disturbing the black paint behind it? Looking to do something custom and need to remove a small bit of it. Thanks.

Awesome thanks. That worked well! Removed the bottom rings off the gauge and no way of telling!
