Re: Fall Carlisle
I was gonna head down Thursday and Friday, but work didn't have enough coverage for Thursday. So I'll be there Friday all day. I go to every spring and fall event. Its only a 2 hour drive.

EDIT: Just found out I will be on two spaces on row A... 70 something. Won't know till I pick up stickers. Look for the truck, tan ez-up,, medium gree glove box door with Special-K on it
I'm getting ready to pack up in a few. I'm in the north field row NK, there is a sign on a pole, only one in that area. I posted the exact space numbers in the other thread about the show. I'll be in my white '72 K2500 with tan cap. Nice shortbed. Attachment 1826126 Here's your picture. Hope to get out to see you, but I'm flying solo. Evenings I'm free for sure. Stop in... all are welcome. Attachment 1826127 Here's that other thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=772029 |

Not bringing this though. Four pork shoulders for pulled pork. My son and his girl are having an engagement party this happens when you build smokers in your spare time. I also brewed 15 gallons of Oktoberfest beer. For the wedding in also doing a whole hog .Doing two barrels of beer for the wedding . One an Oktoberfest the other a coffee chocolate stout. So that's apporoxametly 62 gallons.

Re: Fall Carlisle
Thanks Tim! Putting a face to the name was definitely rewarding and was better than buying the parts tht I did. Love meeting people tht share the same passion for these trucks as I do. Definitely look foreword to more interactions with you in the future. Definitely my favorite truck at fall carlisle was your white GMC 2500. That truck is what dreams are made of... if your ever passing thru my area stop in for more truck talk👍🏻

Re: Fall Carlisle
Thanks for the truck compliment. Your short bed ain't too shabby either (at all). I was thinking the same about getting by for a visit. Same for you if ever in central MD. And my neighbors there are from Lancaster area. Made friends with them all and the one right next to me gave me a lesson on fixing the rock crusher going in my '67. Even 'gave' me the parts I need, exploded views he marked up, info on a book to look for, and his phone number if I get stuck. Great people all over the place. The show seemed a bit off this year, and I attribute part of that to those who were impacted by the flooding from Florence in the Carolinas. The good part about it being slower was I got more time to talk with folks coming by. It was a great trade-off for me.

Re: Fall Carlisle
Definitely going to make the trip down to meet up with you maybe before winter or next spring. Could talk trucks for hours and your an encyclopedia of knowledge. Plus I wanna buy some more parts off of ya if you would sell. I will PM you my number so we can call or txt. What ever is easier for you. I was a little upset with fall carlisle this year as well. You had the most 67-72 parts of everyone. Me and the wife walked over 5 miles and maybe stopped at 5 stands to inquire about things.. I agree that maybe the hurricane had some impact on the sellers market as well. Oh well will patiently wait for spring carlisle. I don’t know if Hershey swapmeet has passed yet or not but I heard there is mostly all older hot rod stuff there not so much 67-72 parts..

Re: Fall Carlisle
Hershey is this week. Pretty much true what you say. Woody's Truck Parts sets up there. I didn't get around to see if he was at Carlisle. If he was there he will be t Hershey... new parts. He says (Kevin) he does well there because he is about the only one. I sell old Tomas and other antiquey type transportation stuff. May not go if I don't get the job I'm on done before Thursday's rain.
