rust free areas..whats a nice 96-98 Z71 worth?
 

Hey guys. I have a nice for the snow/salt area 1998 GMC 1500 ecsb, 5.7, 4wd, white blue buckets. I liked the truck and fixed a bunch of stuff on it before hitting a deer and now insurance wants to settle.

They (in CAN dollars) offered $4800, buy back is $1800..deduct $700 for insurance premium..leaves $2300 to fix it. Needs front clip and a fuel pump, probably take all of it to fix.

Sooo..what would a nice one be worth in an area where the body stays nice? Just looking for opinions on what one would pay..

honestly, like everything else....what is one willing to pay ?

i DD a 2nd gen cummins, i now see them going in the low to mid 20's for a low miles rust free truck.


i have seen 92-98 Z71's advertised for 20k, rust free and low mileage.

I have seen them around the US (rust free) from $2500-$6000. Verying on seller and shape

I just sold a 98 like that. Totally rust free and straight body. For 1200 bucks.
Lots out here on the coast that are the same in the 1-2 grand range.
