68 c10 center link bar
 

I have a 1968 c10. When I purchased the truck it had already been lowered. Unfortunately the people who lowered it did so by simply cutting the springs down. I recently put new springs, shocks, and drop spindles. All the new parts are for a 1968 c10. I was unaware that the center link bar was from a newer model c10. I would like to find a center link for a 68 c10. Can anyone here help me find one?

Welcome from the U.P. Someone will have what you need! I'm assuming the centerlink has larger holes for the inner tie rod ends than the new spindle tie rod end. I believe 73 and newer went to larger holes, but not sure. Good luck! PS if you do end up having trouble finding this part a friend may have what you need, but he is hard to get a hold of, and likes to hold on to things but at times does come through.

You are correct, the holes are just,slightly larger. I'm going to call around to some machine shops in the area and see if I can have it remachined to fit the smaller tierods but I would like to have the correct link bar instead.

Although you have to be a paying member to do this (it isn't much...I believe) you could place a want to buy ad here. Should be tons available...
