58 or 59 hood?
 

I have a 59 and picked up an original hood that I fixed and dipped before powder coat epoxy.
I'm not sure if the holes are for a 58 hood emblem of 59? Or are the holes the same for both years? I don't have a hood emblem yet so I have nothing to reference.

definitely 59 as it goes full width of the hood

Is there a gasket between the emblem and the hood on the 59? Also what about the side spears?

No Gasket on the Hood or side emblems, The V-8 emblems i think are pretty cool and a little hard to find, was very lucky to have a Forum member sell me one at a decent price!
