Door alignment

What's the best way to align a 71 C10 door?

Re: Door alignment

Just did it on my 70 C20. I did a little write up in another thread.

Re: Door alignment

A couple things I didn't post up. Wrap the handle of your tools in tape so you don't scratch your paint. You can loosen 5 of the 6 pillar bolts with a U or S shaped wrench. The top front bolt is harder. You can either use a ratcheting wrench, or remove the bottom bolt from the top hinge to get the s shaped wrench on it.

Use the 6 bolts on the door to make the door flush with the fender.
