Hinge
Has anyone ever had the plate that the door hinges bolt to fall down inside the channel that they are in? Is there a secret to getting it back up where it belongs? And how to keep it from falling down again?

Re: Hinge
its not good, the bottom part of the cage popped off from rust or not spot welded properly you will probably have to cut a hole in your kick panel to re weld the cage

Re: Hinge
Mine did the same thing. If i remember right I used a wire with a hook bent on the end fished threw one of the holes, pulled it up and got a bolt in one of the holes (took many tries) when putting the latch back on leave one bolt in the plate(that holds the plate in place) bolt through rear hole of latch, tighten just enough so you can swivel the latch after removing the forward bolt. move the latch and install the other 2 bolts. I think thats what i did as its been awhile. Maybe remove the data plate and cut a hole there? good luck.

Re: Hinge
Your other choice would be to turn it over and shake it lol

Re: Hinge
I seem to remember a plug at the bottom of the a-pillar post when I had my body on it's back-side prepping it. Am I imagining it?
