Painted Chevy Hubcap
2 Attachment(s)
This single lone cap made it's way to my garage and not sure what year(s) it fits or what wheel. Measures 9 1/2'' backside edge to edge. Looks similar to the old 67-68 nub style hubcaps but not same diameter. White paint has some very minor scuffing, the Chevy center emblem is in great condition. Any help to ID is appreciated and a value would help also.

Re: Painted Chevy Hubcap
I think it is for a Chevy luv, 70s model. I would guess around 10 15 bucks for it.

Re: Painted Chevy Hubcap
Thanks for the info and the reply. Guess never paid much attention to the Chevy LUV trucks back in that time period. Just don't recall seeing that particular hubcap at the time. Thanks. :chevy:

Re: Painted Chevy Hubcap
Yep, Chevy LUV. It seems most had wheel covers. My utility trailer has 4 1/2" bolt pattern and my spare is a Mopar small pattern 15". I popped one of those on there. I want to find a couple more wheels like that and get two more caps like this. The pair of wheels I found for the trailer are 49-52 Ford 15"... rare and valuable. Those take the GM hubcaps. Good wall hanger. I'd agree with Eric on the money.

Re: Painted Chevy Hubcap
Tim, thanks for the clarification and back ground info for the Chevy LUV trucks and on the hubcap. Will be posting the cap to the S10/LUV parts forum shortly and as I gather from your reply you are looking for a couple you will be up first if interested.
Tim, posted the LUV hubcap in parts forum, you have first call if interested. Thanks. |
